(Mountain View) – The Rotary Club of Mountain View will hold its Annual Auction beginning on Monday, November 4, from 6 -8PM. This year they will be going back to the radio format, with 96.9 The Fox hosting the radio portion of the event.
They will be live at the Mountain View Community Center on Monday, November 4; Tuesday, November 5; and Wednesday, November 6, unless the Liberty Eagles have a playoff game that night, explained Auction Chairman Jon Smith. He added that if the Eagles have the playoffs they will finish the auction on Thursday, November 7.
The Rotary Club of Mountain View offers a scholarship annually to a high school senior, but the difference in this and most scholarships are that this one is renewable. This one could pay up to $8,000 of a student’s college expense or $1,000 each semester.
Students receiving the award include: April Gail Yarber, Kimmy Clift, Candra Taylor, Davae Collins, Josh Reeves, Jeff Phipps, Jason Johnson, Jason Francis, Jennifer Chembars, Matthew Seth Thompson, Matthew Orchard, Charlotte Carkhuff, Kerri Phipps, Kaleb Luna, Lacey Oziah, Aaron Noble, Donald Foulk, Lauren McEwen, Hailey Stephens, Shannon Janell Gaddy, Cheyenne Johnson and Kelsi Taber.
